Do you want to go for the true African back to basic experience in remote rural areas or in the suburbs of the capital city of Accra? Ghana in a few words: – Basic living conditions and public transport – Delicious local food – Ghanaian music – Tropical temperatures and beautiful beaches – Friendly people and staff – Lovable children. In that case, Let’s Go Ghana will take you to the right place! The local people and children in our small-scale community development projects will give you an unforgettable and life changing experience that will touch your soul.

In Ghana, Noor, who has been living there since 2012, will be your in-country contact person and supervisor. Here you can read more about her.

“Ghana has touched me. Although, I was well prepared, I didn’t really know what to expect. I knew this was going to be an impressive experience to me, but I could have never guessed that it would impress me so much. It’s a funny thing about coming home. Everything looks the same, smells the same, and feels the same. You’ll realize what’s changed is you.” Joyce – Traveller/Photographer

Quality of supervision and guidance in Ghana: Throughout your stay at one of the projects you will have direct contact with Noor as she is your in-country programme manager in Ghana. She will keep you up-to-date with important information and provide direct guidance regarding your project and research assignments. The project staff in Ghana will be informed in advance about your personal information, preferences, work plan, date of arrival, and the length of stay. Together with Noor they will guide you through your first few days and introduce you to the Ghanaian lifestyle and culture. They will make sure that you feel welcome, safe, and comfortable during the rest of your stay. In return for their hospitality we expect you to be very motivated, work together in a professional way, and deal with cultural differences with respect in order to reach the desired results.

If any questions or concerns arise throughout your stay in Ghana that cannot be resolved on your own, Noor can assist and act as a mediator between you and the local people/authorities. She has personally experienced working and living in Ghana and she will do her utmost best to make sure you have an amazing Ghanaian working experience!
